Adding courses in Raqemi LMS is a crucial step to start providing organized and easy-to-follow educational content for students. To access the Teacher's Dashboard, click on your profile picture in the top corner of the page. Once you click on it, a menu will appear with various options, including the "Teacher's Dashboard" option.
After opening the Teacher's Dashboard, you will find the "Create Course" option on the right side of the page. Click on it to start adding the new course.
After opening the Teacher's Dashboard, you will select "Add Course." In the page that appears, you will find a field to add the course title, such as "branding." Here, you should write the course title clearly so that students understand the content they will learn.
Now that we've added the course title, we move on to the course setup phase. In this step, you will be able to add a detailed description of the course to better explain the content to the students. For example: "In this lecture, we will explain complete literature from beginning to end."
You will also specify whether the course is paid or free. If the course is paid, you will add the appropriate price, and if it is free, you will select the option for free courses.
In this step, you will be able to add a distinctive image for the course. Additionally, you will be able to assign the course to a specific category. This means that if the course is intended for students of a certain specialization or a specific group, you can define that category so the course will only be visible to them. This makes the course more targeted to the appropriate audience.
Now, after we've added the basic information like the course title, description, and an image for the course, it's time for the additional settings. The first thing is to determine whether the course is featured or not. When the course is featured, it will appear on your profile page as shown in the image below.
The second thing is to define the course objective, or in other words, 'What will we learn?' In this section, you’ll write the things that the student is supposed to know once they finish the course.
The third thing is the ratings and the number of followers for the course. Of course, you can leave them as they are so the real number of followers and ratings will show, or you can change them and set them however you like.
In this step, you will be able to add different sections to divide and organize the course more effectively. These sections help break down large content into smaller, more manageable parts, making it easier to understand.
In this step, you will be able to add chapters within sections to break down the content in more detail. If a section contains many parts or complex content, you can divide it into smaller chapters to make it easier to follow. For example, if you have a section called "Literature Explanation," you could add chapters like:
This is the most important step in setting up the course, because here you will be able to adjust all the details of the chapters. In this step:
Adding the Description: You will be able to add a description for each chapter to clarify the specific content of that chapter for the students.
Payment Settings: If you want to make part of the course paid and part free, you can choose which chapters will be paid and which ones will be free.
Customizing Chapters for Quizzes: If you want to dedicate a chapter for quizzes, you can designate one of the chapters to be a test or an assessment for the students after completing the material. This will be an important step in tracking the students' progress.
All these details will help you organize the course better, allowing you to control the paid and free content and organize assessments professionally.
In this step, you will be able to add educational content to the chapters. In Raqemi LMS, you have two options for adding content:
Adding a Video from YouTube or any Platform: If you have videos on YouTube or any other platform, you can add the video link in the designated area.
Uploading a Video from Your Device: If the video is not available online, you can simply upload the video directly from your device to the platform.
After ensuring that all the chapters are published, click the "Publish" button to make the course visible to the selected category you chose earlier. Once the course is published, it will be available to the students registered in that category.
